Yep. Difference is, GTA's story mode was way longer. I'll be surprised if this passes the GTA thread.

while i agree we will never top Halo 3 i do think Gears 2 could pass up GTA IV, i'll definitely be playing it longer than i played multiplayer GTA, i've always loved gears and the new multiplayer (with some tweaks/patches) could be something i play for a long time.

Same. Has EPIC said anything about a possible fix?

Maybe, GTA does have the advantage of being on 2 platforms. You won't see many PS3 users in this thread.

Yeah I was saying that to a buddy while playing coop and pointing out all the retarded things in the story. Sent him this comic as soon as it came out.

This should be entertaining. I'll be slurring words for the first half-hour, and probably die in the first wave.

True... but you'll notice the PS3 forum members really aren't as chatty as the 360 users. I'm sure it means something.

I love this game. First match of the day the other team is two guys short in the lobby, another two drop out while the map is loading, the when the game starts there's MEGA lag, ad the final guy quits out. I don't even think I got credit for the entire ordeal because the game hung on the rounds screen, and I was booted to main menu with "connection to host lost"

Yes, much more difficult.

The part on act 1 where you have to defend the drilling derricks had me pulling my hair out.

we've only played 1/5th of the campaign and its HARD, without a co-op partner it would be close to unbearable, i can't count how many times i was knocked down and saved by sek.

Sorry, should have posted here that I'd be sending friend reqs before doing it. My GT is Veteran35th and I lost my horde cherry last night. Quite fun. I could hear sek/fatty but my mike wasn't working.

Hats off to anyone that does 50 in horde : 1) for the skill and 2) for the patience - how long does it take?

Matchmaking is pants though.

I passed 1600 ad 1700 kills during our run.

Edit: The impressive part about 50 was we had 2 or more of those riders get in the laser area and we somehow killed them all. I'm not eve sure anyone died during that.

Edit 2: I'm gonna grab some grub and then I'll be back on for a while if anyone wants in.

You gotta give us credit Bogues. I think it was around Wave 47 that you died at the beginning and stogie and I managed to handle the entire Wave.
