When you're playing, which view do you usually drive in:
in car/cockpit
bonnet/bumper
chase
I'm trying to get out of it but I've always preferred the chase view, I've got a wheel on the way for my PS3 so hopefully I can get myself into using the cockpit or bonnet/bumper view. Is there any reason why you prefer the view you use?

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

All 3 - depends on the game!
But only very rarely in car/cockpit view - I like it the most but usually can't see enough, so I avoid it!

I like in car, but unless you're using a 3 tv set-up, you're giving away too much screen real estate. Not to mention the car feels much less responsive.
In Burnout, 1st person is a bit more murky, as online it becomes much more difficult to get takedowns in that view.
For games like GTA IV, I usually go 3rd person, unless I'm in a hell of a rush.

Forza/Gran Turismo I drive with the 'in front' camera, which doesn't include the bumper or bonnet.
Every other car game I'll drive in chase.

That'd be in-car. Only way to go.

Generally I play in chase view, because there don't seem to be any games that are completely accurate from in-car. GRID is pretty close, but the syncing between when the car shifts and the guy actually moves the shifter is all wrong and that annoys me.

Haven't played too many driving games, unless you call Saint's Row 1 and 2 a driving game? Played a bit of PGR 4 and generally played it in 3rd person or chase as you call it.

it really depends on the game. such as for a drifting game like Juiced 2 its kinda hard to see where your going in car or bonnet. games like Test drive unlimited i use a mix of all 3 depending on what type of stuff im doing. such as doing top speed runs its good for bonnet/bumper. in car for cruising. until they make a game with a in car camera which you can see out of a car properly then its mostly chase for me.

Chase view, although my driving would probably be considerably better if I tried cockpit/bonnet. However, the only driving game I really play anymore is Burnout, and chase is just way better for that kind of game.
