I'm a lil tipsy, but not drunk. Well, enough such that I can't read very well unless I get really close and stare at if for a bit
I actually drove like this, too. Typically, I force myself to let my buzz die down before I get behind the wheel. But, I couldn't admit to her such pansyness . So, I sucked it up and drove. I wasn't a danger to my fellow drivers, but if I had been hanging with buddies, I prolly would not have driven.

i had a few beers last night, beer & pizza...a great combo. didn't get drunk though, I picked up a 6pack of samuel adams cherry wheat beer, i was really excited about it but it kind of tasted like nyquil to me. oh well...now i am drinking coffee to try to wake up i think caffiene is my favorite drug
anyways fad where's your plastic bag at...you must put a new plastic bad on your head whenever you get drunk

Yes, yes it was dumb. If I had been with friends, I would have had someone else drive, but that was not an option.

That is good, at least you are wiling to admit it.

6 Pack of Newcastle River Water and a couple Greene King IPA's under my belt.
Have to remember to loosen my belt.
And E's, before you take your first drink you have an "exit strategy".

I was 18, (1991) and in Morgantown WV and had what my older siblings friends called "Mind Erasers" It some concoction with lots of alcohol and malt at the top. You suck this drink down very fast with a straw. And it hits you hard minutes later.
Next thing I know, I had a 50 year old lady that owned the bar hitting on me. Trying to stick her fingers in the holes I had in my jeans. My brother's roommate was spitting beer on my pants telling people I had a pre-mature ejaculation problem.
Don't remember too much after that till I fell down some concrete steps at my brother's apartment building.
Then there was the time in MT that I took off with one of my brother's female friends that was a bit older than I was, that asked me to go pick up her friends with her. We was sitting in the car, I was pretty buzzed from the whiskey shots I had taken earlier. She in the middle of silence asked me if I wanted to see her "Pussy" Of course I was all "sure" So she lifts up her pants leg and shows me a tattoo on her leg of a little black cat. Har.
She then takes me to her friends house. This was a small house that 4 very hot girls that I had no chance with because I was too young lived at. They were smoking out of a purple plastic bong that was shaped like a penis. I had tried weed before but it had no effect on me (Probably dirt weed) But I had taken LSD many times before that day.
They encouraged me to take a hit after I informed then I had before, and no gotten high. That was my first lesson on Morgantown pot.
Needless to say my pretty conservative brother wasn't too keen on the idea of what I had done. And refused to take me to get any "munchies" that night.
FUN TIMES!
But seriously, I have always liked Morgantown, And at the time WVU was voted 2nd largest party college in the state.
Not sure what it is now.

I seriously find beer pong to one of the most boring drinking games around, but I played it with my friends godmother last night. She had 3 scotches before the game and then lost 2 games in a row. Fun Night.

I have family that lives in Morgantown. My Aunt, Uncle and two cousins. My aunt works at a pawn shop just outside of town. I like the area. I am not a WVU fan as I went to Western Michigan University and WVu has been kicking WMU in football pretty god for the last few years.

Sweet job that is.
Haven't been back to Morgantown in probably 20 years;
actually gotta be more than that - they had just built the
new football stadium. I lived in the Towers before they
were co-ed. Many, many fond memories of that area.

Heeeeeeeeeeeellll yeah! Another Mountaineer in this forum. Though I'd never see it.
In 78 I was 5 though.
And yes, lots of my memories in Morgantown are pretty foggy.
I could go on and on about the stories there. Esp after I lost some of my shyness.

I have played ruit probably 20 times the last 2 days. Its all about the music. Get 30+ plus people in a room, blast some tunes. Its awesome. Something about sinking the last cup to "Take Me Home Tonight" by eddie money makes it so much more enjoyable. By the end of the night everyone is singing to the songs. Its funny have 30 brothers and a bunch of girls singing drunk singing "Fight for your right to party". I love fraternity life.

It's definitely about the music. When I was in school, we'd use the Oasis live CD, "Familiar to Millions" or the Supergrass CD, "In It For The Money." We managed to get through both Oasis disks one night with only 4 of us playing, and took the liberty of destroying the basement we were in during the last song.
Oh, college.

Is that an overtime rate? Or, do you really make $140K per year?

It was, though in the town I was, it would have taken an hour or so for them to come get me. In retrospect, perhaps I should have waited for it. By then, I probably would have been back to the 100%, normal, good-ol' E.

Step aside mofo's.
Not Drunk now, but I"m still feeling it.
Last night was the French Meet up and everyone had a bottle of wine with them. Needless to say, after my sixth full glass of wine, I was fluent and slurring at the same time. At one point, I spoke English with a French Accent... I was like, WTF, I'm not French!
As if that was not enough, we hit the local Irish Pub (Becketts for those in the know) where I had two pints beer. I was a talking to everyone and anything. I had this beautiful Indian girl put her phone number on my cell phone (she wrote her name and # herself). That was a first.
Well, my world was a jumping and a spinning. I finally made it to my bed.
Three hours later, my mom calls long distance to say hello. My voice was deeper than Barry White and all I could say to my mom, through the pounding headache, was that I had been up "talking with my friends."
A'ight, enough with the drinks, I'm going bck to bed. Fun night though.
I'm with E on this, he had no choice... or he did, but some times a man got to do what a man got to do. His a big boy, he knows what he can and can not do. I'm not defending him, I'm just saying that he's fully aware of his his decision. Anything else is obvious.

That's my Sunday rate.
My base salary is $31.50/hr. plus 10% premium for working 3rd shift ($34.65/hr.). That's makes my base rate around $72,000.
Saturdays are 1.5 X base rate plus overtim premium. Sundays are 2 x base rate plus 10% premium.
EDIT: I rarely work overtime. I am only doing it lately because I want to be able to allow my wife to take as much unpaid maternity leave as possible.
