OOoooh, I wish they sue MOSR! ^_^ (though they did get the cube rumor first...but 'tis true about the patent pending issue. I'm wondering if Apple can still patent the Cube...of course that'll be after the Qube issue gets resolved...)
G4/450, T-bird 1.05GHz, iBook 500, iBook 233...4 different machines, 4 different OSes...(9, 2k, X.1, YDL2.2 respectively) PiA to maintain...

Quoted from above article:
"Apple today filed a lawsuit in the Superior Court for Santa Clara County, California against an unknown individual who has posted Apple's trade secret information on the Internet."

Well let's see, it's either
  • An Apple Demo Day rep who posted information they shouldn't have on these boards or else where
An empoyee for Apple who posted something on these boards or else where.
A relative or close friend of someone who works at Apple who posted something on these boards or elsewhere
One of the editors at MOSR, or other sites.

Whether Apple files suit for good reason or not, it's definetely a good scare tactic for anyone interested in posting things Apple related that they shouldn't be posting.

Here's additional information on the article above in an article at News.com

Apple sues over alleged leak of trade secrets

According to this article:
"...the unknown party posted digital images of Apple's dual processor PowerMac and its new mouse to a publicly accessible site on the Internet, beginning "in or about" February."
Also, "...The individual, alone or in concert with others, has posted trade secret information about other Apple products that the company has not announced."

.....and more.....

The front page of MacNN has a story on this now too.

AND the apple insider forums have been shut down.

Interesting...

Within the News and Advocacy forum, I have posted a link to the first time Worker Bee leaked a "trade secret" in the Apple Insider fora. Read it while you can.

If you scroll down this tread (link below) in appleinsider, you'll see where Worker Bee has posted several times about stuff to be released and was right about all of it.

http://forum.appleinsider.com/ubb/Fo.../004367-2.html

The only 2 things he talked about that still have yet to be released is the iBook with Firewire and the Powerbook G4.
