All my emails are coming out looking something strange. All the characters have been replaced by a Keycap A. I am going to post a screen shot too. I have not come across anything like this before and I have not had much luck with google etc. Any ideas how to fix? Thanks.

Try changing the default Fonts in Mail's display preferences.
The screenshot isn't working on an iPhone.

Either they tried to use a font that you don't have, or something is off in the text encoding of that mail.

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

I did try this one - changed from helvetica to another. it does change one part of the message, but its a part that I can read already.

I would think that too however it is for almost every email message in my inbox with the exception of messages that are mostly picture based. Even then they have a character or few that look wierd.

That email in your screenshot is an html mail. Does this problem occur with plain-text emails? What does their web version look like? Click the "View as a webpage" link in the mail and see.
I'm wondering if the html isn't using a webfont and Mail.app isn't playing nice with webfonts?
