Is it possible to connect to a Webdav-drive automatically when you startup? Now I have to manually connect every time. Can I otherwist make a shortcut?

Try making an alias of it, then add that alias to your startup items in System Prefs > Accounts. You can store the alias anywhere out of sight.

Thanks! Only how can you prevent a finder window being opened when it connects? Possible?

Hm... doesn't work actually. When I add that alias on my startup items, nothing happens on startup

The alias works though... Anyway: is there a way to prevent finder from opening a window when a connection with the webdav drive is established?

Connect to it, so it mounts on the desktop. Then just drag it into the "startup items" box for your user under system preferences/system/accounts.

To answer your other question -- there's an option in that box, to "hide." That won't show it on the desktop (though navigating to it might be tedious). It shouldn't open a finder window when it mounts... my iDisk certainly doesn't open and I've had shares automount before as well and they don't open the box.
