Random Logging Out - 10.4.7

Beginning yesterday my iBook has been logging out at random intervals of idle time. I have my energy settings set to "never sleep" when I'm plugged in, and sleep after 30 minutes when on battery. The last time I installed anything new was the iTunes 7/Quicktime update on Tuesday night. This problem did not begin (or I haven't noticed it) until yesterday.
any ideas?

Interesting issue - I haven't heard of anything like that before. Try a different/new account and see if this same thing occurs.

My wife's 12" PB 867 does the same thing, although I haven't had a chance to investigate.
BTW, where did you get 10.4.8?

I'm senile.... I meant .7... after reading all the .8 "news" the last few days, its what stuck in my mind.
anyways, as for the random logging out problem, I "fixed" it by doing a format earlier tonight. I still have no clue why this even started happening as I didn't change anything on the computer.
