Yay Barry!
If that's a great week for America, I'm going to the Doctor to get a prescription for some strong anti-depressants. It's going to be a long 2 years.

Bipartsanship support? Republicans are like North Korea. America tries to work with them, but all they do is make threats about nuclear weapons when they don't get their way.

Then Obama would have actually tried. He told them he wasn't compromising because he "won" and that they should just get on board his plan regardless. As a result, he got no votes from the all of the elected representatives whose ideas he felt weren't worthy because "he won".
We need an "analogy failed" graphic like the one posted above.

Is it just me or does the almost always indicate introspect; an uncomfortable lack of belief in one's own view?

I definitely think it is, at a minimum, an indicator of one's inner mindset. I think it is open to debate whether or not it is a sign of introspection. And whether one thinks is a sign of self-doubt or hubristic pride is probably determined by the reader's response to the statements that preceded the .

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.
