I have a late '08 Unibody Macbook, with Core2duo 2.0, 4gb ram, 160gb harddrive, and Nvidia Geforce 9400m. It's in excellent shape, no signs of wear. Can anyone give me a fair market value for sale?

Depends where you live, check craiglist to see what its going for. But 700 is a good range to start at.

from what i saw.. it's about $700-$900.

It's a four year old computer. My MacBook died after 5.5 years and while it got banged around a bit it was ultimately a toasted logic board that seems to have killed it. Won't even boot now. Keep in mind that there's a good chance your next owner is going to only get around another year before it might just kick the bucket. I'd probably feel like a jerk selling for more than 500.
