Since we have the app recommendations, thought people could post here on any lemons so people can avoid.
And please put why the app sucked.

Movie.app - There's no "save" or "done" button to press after you enter in the zip code. You have to exit out of the app and enter back in. (Why is a zip code required? The app should take advantage of the iPhone's current location feature to look up nearby theaters.) The layout of the movie info is horrible. You actually have to scroll down to see the movie times (morning only). Clicking on the little blue arrow will bring a pop-up of the complete list.
I would recommend Box Office instead. It doesn't display as much information as Movie.app but the layout is much nicer.

I agree, stick with Box Office. Plus, Box Office's buy tickets links to Fandango, Movies.app links to some site I'd never heard of.
But when it gets down to it, you don't really need either one. Fandango already has an iPhone-specific site.

Photobucket. Mainly because I would only upload on WiFi, and even then, I'm more than likely home so why not use my computer for free, instead of paying for the app.

where crashes my phone. All I want is the gas prices based on current location. Shame that gasbuddy partnered with where.

Whew, I thought it was just me. It worked perfectly the first day I installed it, but anymore it gets stuck at "Locating you" and then after about a minute, crashes. Off the phone for now until an update comes out.

The Flickr app thing is horrid. NYT app doesn't seem to be that great either.
