So, I was bored and decided I'd look in the Forum Archives to find the first post I made after registering the name "Person Man."
And here it is:
http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...724#post228870, with a date of June 12, 2001.
Now, I had posted in here before then and used the name Person Man, but that was as an unregistered user. (I wish I could find those posts, in which my name would have appeared as <Person Man> IIRC.)
I was reading the forums long before I registered the nickname. I remember the NFN incident because I was out of the country and logging on from Internet cafes in Greece and Germany and watching the drama unfold in the forums. Ah, well...
So, who else wants to post a link to the first post they made as a registered user of these forums?

Actually, it's "Who came up with Person Man, degraded man, Person Man?"
But I'll take "the greatest man" any day.

Clearly either my memory is bad, or my hearing suck. Or both.
Either way, life is looking up for you.

Oh, and the prediction I made in that first post did come true... Mac OS X lost the lines over time.

I would be more interested in what the very first post on MacNN was, and who posted it.

*bored.
Doing a search, I've found that my first post was wholly uninteresting, so I'll spare you from having to read it.

Yes, I feel a lot less like a piece of wood today. Thank you for your concern.

I feel like I've been here forever and yet my post count doesn't reflect that fact. Is that good or bad?
Oh well, long live The 'NN!
