In aspiration of my new 30 GB iPod I want to re-rip some of my tunes in higher quality. But my playlists rely heavily on the playcount (+20, +40 etc.) and I don't want to loose that. Therefore my question:

Is it possible to set the playcount manually in some way?

You can AppleScript it. I'm not at my computer so I can't look up how at the moment.
