Remember that manager who defected IBM to join Apple? IBM tried to bully him back in, and New York justice almost lets them.

Papermaster countersues. IBM to pay up 3 million US dollars. (if only I had subscribed to my favorite blog, with Apple news nobody else posts, I wouldn't be sharing this 4 days late!)

Ouch. It must be twice as hurtful, since IBM lost half of its value over the last few months. On the other hand, it is nice to see that lawyers will not go hungry this Thanksgiving.

You should probably link to the actual entry, not just the blog:

I'm happy about that. My wife works in the legal sector, business is booming there even when the rest of the economy is floundering.

In the good times: Mergers and Acquisitions
In the bad times: Foreclosures and bankruptcies baby!

Given the election results (and what we're seeing in Washington right now) that isn't going to change.

Perhaps lawyering should be the next industry outsourced to India.

Are there any US citizenship requirements to be admitted in the bar?

Fun idea, but the ABA would never allow for outsourcing.
