No. We won't get fooled again.

I don't think Marvel would screw it up. They've had too much invested in the franchise for decades.

Do you think this would be because of the previous movies, or the property isn't any good?

The property works fine. Another movie would be attempt #4. Fox never should have touched it. There was a lot of dissent when the script details leaked and instead of listening to what was being said, they went ahead with their "vision".

Well, their vision sucked. Time to bring FF home.

I debate the value of this question being answered by someone who is going to disagree with the premise in their answer.

FF must be the most underserved comics characters ever. Bad vision. Bad scripts. Bad casting.
At least at marvel they might get a chance FFs usp is the character interaction. Let Jos Wheedon have a go. He does that better then anyone.
This space for Hire! Reasonable rates. Reach an audience of literally dozens!

I don't think Whedon wants to do another huge Marvel tie-in movie right now.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Both, honestly. People will be more excited about getting Silver Surfer and Galactus back.

Not a Dr. Doom fan? Lots of people seem to think he's the best Marvel villain ever.

I forgot about him to be honest. He's a good pairing with Spidey, actually.

But isn't it Reed Richards who he has it out for? Note, I'm not a Marvel guy, so I know very little about TFF. I'm just making small-talk.

JuRY sold me on some of the concepts TFF plays with.

The three which stuck out were:

The Human Torch is like Lindsay Lohan, someone whose powers make them a danger to themselves and everyone around them.

The Invisible Woman is just that, doesn't matter what she does, or how much she contributes, she's the (to take something from his own lexicon) invisible wife.

Lastly, Doom is the most "real world" villain. His power comes from being like Saddam Hussein. He's the strong-arm dictator of a two-bit country.

Didn't buy into the last two as much.

The Thing is like Belushi or Farley, someone who ultimately would have preferred to be "normal", as it was their celebrity which killed them.

Reed Richards is like Tom Hanks, which I only sort of get. There's something about a volleyball I assume.

I wouldn't doubt it. I'm only saying my understanding is he's the prime enemy of TFF.

TFF could fight the Green Goblin, but he would still be considered a "Spiderman enemy".

I'm looking at it from a "Finally a top tier villain that isn't the Green Goblin" perspective.

People claim Marvel has better villains than DC, but I'd not put most of the Spiderman villains in that category.

Venom looks cool, though.
