I just got Popcorn and installed it but it "unexpectedly quits" every time that I try to open a Video_TS folder. Is Popcorn not compatible with Intel Macs? I havent heard anything about incompatibilities but I havent really looked into it.

Popcorn 1.0 requires a point update to run properly on 10.4.x. It should be available on Roxio's website. Its a MacOS X version issue, not an Intel processor issue.
Popcorn 2.0, by the way, is an Intel-native application, which should give you more performance than running version 1. But 1.x will work.

Not to mention, 2.0 has direct export for the iPod video and PSP, which may or may not be a deciding factor to upgrade.
