Since I set up my wireless connection the internet on my MacBook is EXTREMELY slow! I am like 10ft. away from the router most of the time. I have a Belkin Wireless G router. Most of the time when I go to a website (Myspace, picture threads on MacNN, etc.) not all the images load, or the page does not load all the way. When I connect it directly to the modem (DSL) it works just fine. Any ideas?
I have an MacBook, 15" monitor, 1 GIG ram, 120 gig internal hard drive, 500 gig external hard drive, and an iMac with 40 gig internal hard drive with iSight web cam. Using Mac OS 10.5 Leopard

I am assuming you gave a good connection. 10 ft away with no obstructions should give you four bars.

Try OpenDNS.

Sys Prefs > Network > AirPort > Advanced > DNS

Enter 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 as DNS server IPs.

Might be a dumb question, but you have you (a) locked down the router so nobody else is on it, (b) rebooted or hard reset the router, and (c) ensured that you have no 2.5GHz cordless phones?
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.
