I won't believe you until you provide a link to an unbiassed (yet pro-Dubya), non-left-wing source.
If you have indeed created the 1000th thread then the onus is on you to provide the proof - otherwise, Demonhood will be forced to form a coalition of the willing to invade the politics lounge and remove/'topplate' said thread and the threat to MacNN security that it poses.

I don't think this thread is really the 1000th thread. Rumours of this thread's numerical relevance have likely been "sexed up" by Timo, to add "legitimacy" to the post. no doubt...
