I just installed a new hard drive in my MacBook and since installing it and doing a new install of OS 10.5 my Apple Remote doesn't work - I have tried two separate remotes, both of which worked prior to the install and now neither is working - did I miss out on something?

Did you put the HDD in upside down the first time? If you did this will have damaged the cable going to the remote sensor and possibly the sleep light.

I think you nailed it right there, rats.

I wish I would have damaged the sleep light also, that thing annoys me because of how bright it is at night.
