That time of year when things get warmer. When our little flying pals come back. Those bugs on a mission to fly around your head & eyes. Or that endlessly land on your LCD monitors while you watch an evening movie.

There's no way I'll apply a swatter to one of my LCDs, and I don't want to smear bug-blood on them either, so tissue is out. But I still had a vacuum handy from case dusting earlier today.

Perfect. It's very satisfying hearing a fly rattle down the hose. Stick around in there pal. Maybe I'll send you some company later on.

I got a lot of these last summer on my CRT. Since moving and getting an LCD, I haven't seen a single one.

I just let about a dozen frogs roam around my house.

Problem solved.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

My dog eats flies for me.

For some reason bugs are really attracted to my HP monitor, but ignore my MBP.

There’s probably a reason for that little brother.

I thought they'd like the sexy expensive MacBook Pro.

First guess: they like glossy displays more, because the reflection seems more like a wet surface.

Both have glossy displays (although I guess if you're comparing it to a wet surface, the HP would be more "realistic," since the MBP is of course glass).

I leave my spiders well alone. They get tons of insects, especially the ones that happen to spin their web in front of the porch light.
