Every computer has problems. an eMac is the most bargin, basement cheepiest computer you can buy. It's extremely outdated and you shouldn't expect much for $700.

It's the cheapest complete mac, ther's a difference. You used to buy a Microtel PC for 200. Garbage.

My old high school has piles of dead eMacs from 2002 through 2004... they used a lot of poor quality components, or their design was poor.
