JavaScript Problem

I setup a service on my web site from SpellChecker.com. The service will enable users to spell check any forms that are submitted on my web site. The service is compatible with the following browsers:

Win32
Internet Explorer 4.0
Internet Explorer 5.0
Internet Explorer 5.1
Internet Explorer 5.5(Release version - 5.50.4134.0600)
Netscape Navigator 4.03
Netscape Navigator 4.05
Netscape Navigator 4.08
Netscape Navigator 4.51
Netscape Navigator 4.6
Netscape Navigator 4.61
Netscape Navigator 4.7
Netscape Navigator 4.72
Netscape Navigator 4.74

Macintosh
Internet Explorer 4.01
Internet Explorer 4.5
Netscape Navigator 4.03
Netscape Navigator 4.05
Netscape Navigator 4.08
Netscape Navigator 4.61
Netscape Navigator 4.7
Netscape Navigator 4.72
Netscape Navigator 4.73

The service will NOT work with MSIE 5.0. I was told this is caused by a "poor implementation of JavaScript" on IE 5. Anyone have any suggestions as to what this may be or what can be done?

You can find an example at http://www.xdslresource.com/Feedback.shtml and can use Netscape to test it.

Any assistance with this problem will be appreciated.

Thank you.

IE5 has received many complaints for its JavaScript implementation:

Hi,

I used 3 Mac version of MSIE 5.x, which are 5.0, 5.01(Carbon version comes with Mac OS X Dp4 CD), and the 5.5b1(using right now). I can say that all these 3 versions are lack of JavaScript support(part of), since I have JavaScript problem on this site <http://www.the-sun.com.hk> Even the 5.5b1, when will MS fix it?
