Is it just me or does everyone else notice the types of computers that are popping up on TV? When I got my iBook I started to notice that lots of movies and shows had apple products in them has anyone else? If you have tell us where?
I watched the movie How to lose a guy in 10 days with my wife and noticed that in kate hudsons work they where all Macs, and in paycheck with Ben Affleck when they erase his memories the monitors all have large apples on them. Also tonight I saw a show called the Mythbusters, and sure enough they had there trusty 14" iBook sitting on the table next to them.

Bless those that sacrifice for us all.

Yes everyone uses Macs and there are websites that list them all. Funny that I never noticed it on mythbusters since I watch that pretty often.

It's just like buying a new car.
Say you buy a new Toyota Prius. Suddenly you see them every where.
You're just more sensitive to it.

While I agree with the point that since we all use Macs, we tend to notice them more, I have to argue that more tv shows and movies use macs. Sure there are some using PC's but macs are much more attractive so they are used in a lot more movie and tv sets.

Runaway Jury very prominently featured an iPod and quite a few 23" Cinema displays.

Actually, Macs really are more common in movies and TV. This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise; they look cooler. It's not an endorsement of the Mac OS in any way (unless Apple is paying for product placement, which is possible); it's just directors liking the aesthetics.

Apple pays to place Macs on TV shows.
It is advertising.

think that's what he's talking about.
