New virus for mac. Not!

I read an artical from MacAddict about a new so called problem with a worm for Mac. Here it is. (I have not heard about it and Obviously Don't know who has so if you know about it I don't care!)
Much has been made about Opener/Renepo, a worm that can cause serious damage to Macs. Apple released a statement denying that Opener is really a virus�and technically, Apple's right. Opener is a rootkit, and rootkits don't spread on their own, like viruses. Rootkits also require administrator access to be installed. That doesn�t mean you shouldn�t take the proper precautions�use a firewall, run anti-virus software, and change your admin password regularly.
If this is the worst thing out there I sure am glad I have a Mac

This is old news. We all know about Opener, and we all know it's not harmful cuz it doesn't just spread, it has to be installed.
Do a search before you post.
