I read somewhere that your iPod only synchs with one machine. Is this true? I am contemplating purchasing an iMac and was wondering if I could share the music on my PowerBook with my new iMac. Is this possible?

I use it with my ibook and my G4. I cant sync, it deletes songs since my librarys are not the same on G4 & iBook, But I can add from both, I thought it was going to be a problem, but it wasn't!
