It seems that Mac OS X doesn't have OpenGL on my iMac Rev. D 333mhz (it has an ATI Rage Pro with 6mb VRAM i think).

Nothing OpenGL seems to work, e.g. the screensavers posted by epicware, or even OpenGL things in Classic (Quake3).

I haven't tested Quake III by OmniGroup because my screen resolution was set small in Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X doesn't support it =(

Anybody got any ideas what's wrong?

Do you get any error messages? Something like "cannot find libogl.a" or something like that?

i am having the same problem... openGL apps dont open..
i have run Q3A on my imac with the os X pb, and it works great
with my iBook (rev A), no video comes up. just a blank screen. but i kno the app is running because when i move the mouse i her the 'pong' noise of the buttons...
i am pretty sure it is a opengl issue because in classic, when i started an opengl application the screen would go yellow, then the app would run (initalizing the video card i would assume). i dont get this yellow screen when i try running Q3 in os X
