I've been using Mozilla for quite some time and never had popup windows from advertisers before.

However, after problems with v1.2b, I reverted to 1.2a, and now I have these "spam-ups" all the time.

Examined the prefs, but can't find anything that seems related. Anybody know how I was pop-up free before?

Thanks!

go to Mozilla/Preferences.
CLick on Advanced and then on Scripts and Plugins.
Uncheck "open unrequested windows".
i would also uncheck "move or resize" and "raise and lower" since that also is annoying as hell.
