The BBC news website has an article about alternatives to IE, and Safari is the first one mentioned:

Adnan Osmani, a 16-year-old from Ireland, has designed XWebs. He says it is five times faster than anything else but he would not demonstrate it to us.
Guess what, I designed a web browser that's even six to seven times faster than anything else. I'm not demonstrating it either.

Can I be mentioned by BBC too please?
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Xwebs related:

It might just be some greedy pre- fetching and caching of pages, of which a significant portion won't even be needed.

It's 5 times faster because all it does is display the raw HTML ! Sorry - there's no way that a single 16 year old kid - even a genius - can write a web browser in his spare time (he's supposed to be as school, remember). This is BS.

Hehe, when you try to "email the story" to someone else using Safari, it doesn't work.
