Has anyone gotten cheats to work for multiplayer on your own server. I tried to type developer 1 in the main menu, and then type in god while i'm in the game and there is a message that says 'Cheats are not enabled in this server" which makes me think that there is a way to enable them

Help Please!

Nonono, I'm not trying to cheat on other servers, that IS lame. I'm trying to enable cheats on a server I CREATE so other people can use them. Wouldn't it be cool if everybody could walk through walls and shoot eachother?

I'm not here to judge you or anything of that sort, just google "call of duty 2 wallhack" or something w/ autoaim of that sort. Make sure to read the forums for updates and how not to become obvious when using cheats so u don't get banned.

He said he doesn't want to be a jerk and actually cheat...though apparently you know the in's and out's. Hmmm.

I am judging you.

How about enabling cheats in single player? They just won't take and I'm flat stuck.

I would also love a blow-by-blow on how to make the single-player cheat codes work. I have tried several different methods, and the only change I have been able to effect is FPS display. No "god", no "give ammo", no "ufo" mode or change in jump height, etc.

It's a silly thing, but I'd love to be able to fly around. And, naturally, shoot simulated Nazi soldiers.

Cheats in general are stupid, unless you're playing GTA. But once in a while, everybody has to cheat.

Okay, so it's a silly AND stupid thing to want.

It's about the last bit of value I'm going to get out of this game, I think. Unless someone writes some new single-player levels and describes how to play them... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Google search terms I might use? How-to pages? TIA.

To activate cheats;
1. Enter console in the game menu (shift + <)
2. Type "seta thereisacow 1337"
3. Type "spdevmap eldaba" if you want to use the cheats on the el Daba level
4. The level chosen starts loading, and when loaded, enter the console again
5. Type for instance "God" for godmode (other cheats are found on http://www.apple.com/games/articles/...ex2.html#cheat as well as other sites)

PS! If you get "unknown command" while typing in the console, type it again. That worked for me.
AND donĀ“t use cheats in multiplayer

What I was searching for and eventually came across this thread was how to improve my game performance. Cheating sucks but I have seen tweaks for the game that improves performance in regards to frame rates and such. One example I came across was making the image of the weapon I was holding dissapear as well as the cartridge ejection animation stop. I saw these for the PC version but I am not sure if the same will work for the Mac version. Anyone ever came across this type of info??
