More specifically, I've managed to change other icons (genericfolder, homefolder, etc.) Where is the icon for the dock trashcan icon located? Can anyone tell me?

That's what I used.
Now the dock looks OK with the custom icons, but if I double-click the trash I still have the OSX icon in the title bar. Also, if for any reason I need to restart the Finder (without logging out), the dock comes back with the OSX icon.
Will these two hickups be over with after the "hard replace" as shown in Frisbee's link ?

speaking of which, I kinda lost the original icons... where are they in the install packages so I can find them with Pacifist, or could anyone provide me with the original trash icons?

Thanks.

Try this: http://www.iheartny.com/howto_02.html

Look for the link on the right hand side called "Restore". Haven't used it myself. I made backups before altering system files. Hope that helps.

Thanks. Yeah, it was actually a weird candybar glitch that killed the backup of the original icon. That set did the trick. Thanks again.
