All my music is on my iPod, and i have to send it in for repairs. Naturally, i want to backup my music, but when moving files manually between iPod and iTunes, you lose the playcount. Is there a way that i can somehow use the library file on the iPod (if there even is one) and transfer it to iTunes so as to not lose my playcounts?

I think iPodRip (or a similar utility) will do the trick. Search for it at versiontracker.com
