Okay, I think I might be able to get in in September or October to have PRK laser surgery at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Finally!!!!! So now I can get rid of these freakin glasses!

So now that means I have to get a nice pair of shades. I'm looking at a pair of Revo's first. Anyone have any recommendations for me? I'm trying to keep it under $130.

Go to a store, try a few on... How it looks is very important here. As for dependability, toughness, service.. I tend have had good experience with Ray Bans (but deal with the store if anything should go wrong - I've heard some bad stories with going directly to them). In fact, I have two pairs of aviators from about 10 years ago that are still flawless.

On a side note... PRK... is that the only solution you qualify for?

If you're a swabby, you'll appreciate the polarized lenses when you are out to sea. I've been wearing them for the last 14 years or so, and they are far and away the best shades I've owned. Pricey, but worth the cash.
