Hiya
Want to create a bootcamp partition on a new(ly bought) HDD in a MPB but I want the MBP to be running Tiger. Rather than install Leopard on the machine create partition then remove Leopard and reinstall Tiger, can I run the MPB in target disk mode and create the Windows partition from my Leopard machine, then just put Tiger on the Mac OS partition of the MPB?

You can set up up your external with the partitions you need in Disk Utility then after you can.

1. Winclone your XP/Vista partition to the external.

or

2. Not to sure if this works, but Disk Utility might also be able too. Just restore the XP/Vista partition to the external.
