Ladies and Gents,
Will this ram work with my motherboard? it from all the specs gathered it looks to be the part but i couldn't find anyone using nor could i find the voltage of it. Looks like the mac's use a 1.8v

Thanks for your help in advance and i know it's cheap ram but what if it did work? I mean, Patriot is a reputable company and served my powerbook's 2gb needs for years now even with that crazy lower ram slot business going on back in 04...

Love,
pandas

I don't think any Power Macs were made in early 2008. Do you mean Mac Pro? If so, here's what Crucial's selling for "Early 2008 Mac Pros", looks close except the Patriot memory isn't FBDIMM and voltage isn't specified. Maybe those are implied but I'd look elsewhere...

Sorry, yes, i meant Mac Pro. Thanks for the quick answer. To get the 'good' stuff it's about $99 over at Other World Computing for 2x2gb sticks for the early 08 Mac Pros. I am not going gamble and and try these out. Even if they are the right size and will pop in easily i am afraid it will do really bad things to my machine . bummers.
