Hi guys i have an older duall 2.0 G5 and wanted my gf to start using it since she is super stoked at how slow the p.c. has become. I don't really take care of her machine although i did build it and it is a monster but i would rather get us all using the same o.s. here at the house and out in the studio.

Anyway, my real question is this:

I want to drag her iTunes folder from a 2nd hard drive in her p.c. onto an external hard drive but all the ones i have are formated for Mac. Is there a way to do this or will i have to reformat one of my externals to p.c. then do the transfer.

I have read many ways of doing this i just want her to be able to start moving pictures and music to her new(ish) G5. The G5 has 4 GB of RAM and with Leopard running on it and the limited time the box has been up i am really looking forward to this.

Thanks in advance
P!

okay so after all of that the p.c. still doesn't see the drive. It only shows up in the safely remove hardware portion. I don't know what to do now .

Ok, fixed. I had to reformat the drive on the p.c. to fat 32 then put all the music and everything i wanted off of the p.c. onto the newly formatted external. I then took the external and plugged it into the G5 and moved everything to the 2nd drive on that machine. Now, things are looking up .
