Which Linux distro runs the best on a Powermac Cube G4? Gentoo, Debian, or Fedora?

Xubuntu is supposed to be stripped down to run better on old machines.

I also heard what slpLoad said about Xubuntu. So far with my experience in Linux on a mac, Fedora has been extremely compatible out of box. I'm just not sure if it's too GUI eye candy heavy for your cube. It's definitely worth a shot in my book.

If Ubuntu offers a PowerPC distro, that would be a great choice. Apparently, they do:

There are other good Linux distros these days, but Ubuntu is regularly updated and well supported. I think you can't go wrong there.

Arkham is right, there is a strong support community behind Ubuntu.
