How to change the free case order?

I already ordered the free case like Apple instructed online but thought that only the bumpers were free. Now I want to know if I can change it and perhaps get a different free case that covers more than just the sides of the phone?

If the order is pretty new, you might get lucky by calling apple; or shooting an e-mail with the question.
Good luck.

Hope you can change your order. The bumper is crap.
None of my cables and docks work anymore. It's so annoying.
After using the bumper for 3 days, I took it off, and that's the end of it.

Judging from you're constant ranting, you've never actually owned ANY iPhone/iPod case before, have you?
ALL cases are like this, to some degree.
One reason I keep only an Invisible Shield on mine.

I did the same thing, but for a different reason: the slightest pressure to the top of the phone/case made the "power off" slider appear. The bumper just didn't seem to fit correctly no matter how much I tried to adjust it. I may look at a different case at some point, but for now the bumper stays off.

You are right, but my previous devices didn't have a magic "deadspot" either.

Is that somre sort of excuse for bad design ?
Apple could easily make cases that are compatible with docks and cables.
They are just too lazy or arrogant to make it right.

I see. How do you propose to do this?
Make it invisible? Less then .5 mm thick? Or just make it fit into the universal Dock? Still wouldn't fit in the car mount.

Make the universal dock a bit wider so that it can accept cases by removing the top white shell. The indent where the iPods/iPhones sit is made smaller by the white shell.

So, um, just remove the adapter piece?
The only case makers I know that include custom universal dock adapters are SwitchEasy.

Apple used to offer docks that take different inserts to accommodate different models of iPods.
Could be easily done to accommodate iPhones with bumpers.
Seriously, that isn't rocket science. We're talking Apple here. They have solved far more difficult design issues.
