How to delete all photos from iPhone?

I want to delete all of the photos from my iPhone after transferring them on to my computer. Is there an easy way to do this?

Image Capture has an option to delete after import.

edit: are you using a Mac?

then Image Capture's option will work. I don't have any tips on iPhoto because I don't use it for importing photos.
