At my job I use a VERY POORLY written application that uses multipal windows but does not remember their location when the app is launched. I'm using Apple Script to put the windows at the coordinates I want, which makes things much faster

About half the windows I have to open are only available via a menu item. Is there anyway to open a menu item, or use a key command with apple script? The app has no dictionary, so any prewritten calls are out of the question

There is a Scripting Addition called "Menu Events" which allows you to select items from menus from a script.

Thanks for the help. I haven't had the time to post, but it worked perfectly. Sat down with the script for about 10 mins, next thing I know I'm taking serious time out of booting up the app, so I can be more productive
