Printing PS files with out printer present

	I have a Ti book and have recently ran into a printing problem. I have never tired printing up to this point, but I have set up all my printer descriptions, etc. and have the printer picked in the chooser - when I go to print I get an error message of -19,596. Every application gives me this error code including the finder when I try to print desktop. I reinstalled all my software and tested my hardware and it still is jacked up. Is there something that I am missing. Ideally I want to print to postcript files... but i can't even do that. Any pointers out there? Thanx.
