finally got my new iMac!! woohoo!

I'm throwing around some options for booting windows. I heard some folks suggest using Parallels or Fusion rather than using Boot Camp.

Anybody know the pros and cons?

It all really depends on how you're going to be using windows. For example: Gaming, basic word documents, etc etc. This has been discussed before in numerous threads. In a nutshell if you're only going to be using light applications and only using windows for a small amount of time each session. Then I would go with a virtual environment. If you want to game or do CS3 applications or anything like that then go with Bootcamp. There are lots of threads here that should help. Here are a few:
