Hopefully this isn't too dumb a question, but has anyone here compiled a Universal binary for BOINC yet? I just got an Intel iMac for testing purposes and would love to set it up to do some crunching.

Thanks in advance!

I'd love to see how well the CoreDuo machines perform - I've heard nothing about
this as yet. Perhaps asking at the setiathome forums to see if there are any specifics
about ports?

Look on the team beta page for a Universal client.

Look for it to appear there in the future, or look there now? I ask because I didn't see anything there yet (maybe I have the wrong URL).

Thanks.

Thanks.

Problem is even with a Universal client, the actual science apps (where the real work is done) for each project aren't universal. Really wish I had one of those dual core intel macs though, just for my photography.
