Hi,

Does anybody know how to get CollapseWindow to work with windows of a class other than kDocumentWindow?
Or how to hide the titlebar of a document window?
I'm painting my own GUI and don't want any system controls to be visible, but I definitely must have this "shloop" effect.
It is possible, because I actually saw some windows acting this way (e.g. the round speech recognition window in GNU chess).
But how??

Thanks in advance!

you have to subclass NSWindow, and overide a few functions... check out this sample code:

http://developer.apple.com/samplecod...rentWindow.htm

I don't know about the collapse window thing.

Any chance to do this in carbon and not cocoa? Have to port C++ code and really don't want to mess with Objective C.
