Half the size of an iPhone?? I want a 12-13" tablet style MacBook/MacBookPro, not a glorified iPod Nano with a touchscreen.

I dunno, sales of tablet pcs are languishing, I cannot see how Apple could carve out a niche or make inroads in that market when there's little market to make. Just my $.02

In 2006, tablet PC sales were about the same as all Apple laptop sales.
With the ModBook delayed indefinitely there's room for Apple to carve out quite a niche, improving their marketshare with high-margin tablets.

Apple doesn't even see a substantial enough market for a sub-notebook. Apple certainly doesn't see a market for a tablet.
Anyway, every tablet I have seen so far sucked majorly, so I could care less.

Apple redeem thyself. The mobilized market is looking for some 2nd Christ to bring us a point and shoot sub-notebook that can be used while tethered on a robotic arm or while entering patient or customers inventory, Jobs should give me a $2000 credit on my like-new Newton where Karma has surely been on-going.
Tired of using a mundane keyboard and worn down from all the excuses.

The linked article says "half again the size of the iPhone", which would mean it's 50% larger.
