As far as going crazy and being unemployed, I may be crazy on some days - I admit it - but I work about 60 hours a week even preggers and I don't have any pets except for an aquarium and the dogs AND CATS that I have rescued and rehomed on behalf of a local rescue league (along with parrots and rabbits and even turtles). The dog I have now is another rescue project. He'll eventually go to another home and then another one will come along that needs help. I don't mind helping people and animals in need.

I don't think I'm above anyone, either.

I can take that label. Today it applies. I have four deadlines to be FedEx'd by 7:00 PM tonight and I'm on #2. I doubt I can finish them and it's stressful.

At any rate, I'm not a bad person and actually likeable to people who meet me. Yeah, I'm a little meshugganah some days, but not always.

I'm really rankled over the fact that Mastrap so easily forgets people who try to help him and his friend out. That's okay. I never expected him to be a nice guy after giving him money. Still glad I helped Esther Hart out. But he's one of those people, apparently, that easily forgets people who wanted to help him or did help him. His "get a life" comment never came when I was spending my day calling and emailing people on behalf of his dying friend.

One last thing? I'm not a gay basher. One of my very best friends in the world is gay. He's so sweet and funny and smart and there's no one like him. I had to have another gay friend come to my house and have him help me decorate it - he's so creative and great that way.

But I do *sometimes* have an issue with the way that things are said about gay - and even hetero - lifestyles at a place where I know that kids visit. Sometimes young kids.

Around here people just throw Brazil nuts away. We don't even feed them to dogs.
