Aholes. Just like suicide bombers who love deities more than humans.

-------

Mel Gibson has come under fire for being hard on Jews in his film The
Passion of the Christ but apparently, he feels that Protestants are
also doomed to damnation. In fact, it looks like Gibson, a conservative
Catholic, believes that his Episcopalian wife could be going to hell.

Gibson was interviewed by the Herald Sun in Australia, and the reporter
asked the star if Protestants are denied eternal salvation. There is no
salvation for those outside the Church, Gibson replied. I believe it.

He elaborated: Put it this way. My wife is a saint. Shes a much better
person than I am. Honestly. Shes, like, Episcopalian, Church of
England. She prays, she believes in God, she knows Jesus, she believes
in that stuff. And its just not fair if she doesnt make it, shes
better than I am. But that is a pronouncement from the chair. I go with
it.

You're Catholic. Did playing Christ deepen your faith?
Caviezel: I love him more than I ever knew possible. I love him more than my wife, my family. There were times when I was up there [on the cross], and I could barely speak. Continual hypothermia is so excruciating. I connected to a place I could have never, ever gone. I don't want people to see me. All I want them to see is Jesus Christ.

I love Jesus too.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

That seriously creeps me out.

What's really scary is a Rabbi at AICN saying the following:

'One, Mel Gibson and Icon Productions will make a great deal of money. Those distributors who surrendered to pressure from Jewish organizations and passed on Passion will be kicking themselves, while Newmarket Films will laugh all the way to the bank. Theater owners are going to love this film.

Two, Passion will become famous as the most serious and substantive Biblical movie ever made. It will be one of the most talked-about entertainment events in history, it is currently on the cover of Newsweek and Vanity Fair.

My third prediction is that the faith of millions of Christians will become more fervent as Passion uplifts and inspires them. Passion will propel vast numbers of unreligious Americans to embrace Christianity. The movie will one day be seen as a harbinger of America's third great religious reawakening.'

-------

Now that is scary. He denounces studios who do not want to make money out of fuelling fundamentalism (You can't serve God and Mammon, Mel) and then thinks a rise in fervent Christian worship is good for America.

All for what? The official 11th crusade?

That is some seriously strong kool-aid he's been drinking.

There's all of this controversy about this movie, and I admit, as a non-Christian, and godless heathen, I'm somewhat interested in checking the film out, just to confirm whether or not you have to be a firm believer to enjoy the film. I'm also curious about the spin they'll put on the Messiah's death. Gibson seems to hold Judaism responsible, while others say it was all Rome. None of them know the truth though. They think they do, but they're wrong. They're miles off, and I don't blame them.

I was good at covering my tracks.

You heard right. It was me. All me. The Jews and the Romans, they made nice patsies, but at the end of the day, I'm the one to blame. I'm sure you're asking, "Why Myriad? Why'd you do it?" It's hard to say, really. Maybe it was the devil in me. Maybe I envied him, with his long flowing hippy hair and army of devoted followers.

Or maybe, just maybe, I killed Jesus...just to watch him die.

But all I really know for sure is this; when the end comes, when all the prophecies are fulfilled, he'll come for me, for his revenge. Round two. I'll be waiting.
Have you seen me?

Knock him out. He probably only weighed 150 and his hair is easy to pull. In the mean time don't give your money to these people.
