Duke 3D will never happen.

Unreal Tournament 2004 will be out in two weeks.

Unreal 2005 (or whatever it'll be called) November 2005.

I'm talking about Ryan Gordon's ports or Duke 3D and the original UT. Duke 3D was close to being finished last summer...and UT had some pretty serious problems apparently. But I'm surprised Duke 3D hasn't been released yet.

Yeah, I know Ryan Gordon is busy with Linux and Mac ports of UT2004 and other software that racks in cash...and I realize he's doing the other two ports out of good will, but it'd be fun if these were finished soon after UT2k4 is released. If Ryan can't manage his time between ports, for sure the money-making ports will get priority and we'll only see UT and Duke 3D on OS X when we're old and gray.

Here ya go... http://icculus.org/cgi-bin/finger/fi...l?user=icculus ...if you're interested.

OT: there's some bad voodoo going on with the UT2k4 demo and Soundsticks.

That build is not from Icculus.

BTW, Duke Nukem 3D icon on his desktop tell me that he's still working on it:

Who's it from, then? I'm expecting it's just what you get after building the current version from his tree.
