I've got some iMovie HD projects that I want to archive to tape (instead of taking up massive amounts of hard drive space). I'm using the "Share->Video Camera" option, where it appears to just dump the DV out the Firewire port to the camcorder. Is this full quality, or am I losing anything by doing this?

I realize that all my edits are being saved and I'll lose the ability to change titles and transitions and such. That's fine. I just want to know if I'm losing any quality.

You don't mention what camera you are outputting to, but I would assume it's a miniDV. I believe that DV full quality is exactly what gets imported, so exporting would be the same.

Sorry, yes - Canon ZR60. I've got a few related posts out there... forgot to include the details here.
