Lucky you, I'm still waiting for the 13" to come out...

No doubt it will be a bestseller.
After 18 years of MS-DOS and Windows working very happy on Mac, now on a 15" MacBook Pro 2.2 Ghz - 2Gb memory - 200 Gb HD with a 20 and 23" screen. I've been waiting for the iPhone for quite a while, let's role it out in Europe. Just one wish left for now: a light mac (2-3 pounds) with 8 hours of working time. They can do it... :-)

It is so hard to downgrade to a lower screen. I have the PB 17 and I don't like to go away with this screen anymore. This is the reason why I sold my PB12 when the MBP 15 was announced.

Whatever Apple announces becomes a best seller that day.. all the people that were waiting open their wallets.

I think the Macbook will be much bigger than this.

You're right. The MacBook will be huge. My son's college requires a Mac laptop. We are all waiting for them to come out. I'm even going to get one to replace my rev A 12 inch PB.

Even though I would love all that 17" MacBook Pro (still can't get used to that name), I'm also waiting on the Macbook. I already have a 15" aluminum that does whatever I need, but it would be nice to tote a Macbook around for those times when I just need to throw it in my backpack for a quick weekend trip somewhere....
C'mon Apple, hurry up already, you know it will be huge!!!! Everyone is waiting for it!

Agreed! Dual core goodness in a small (relatively) form factor. As long as the performance is there, I could worry less about the looks.

Interesting they require a Mac. What college is this if I may ask?

i will get the 15 inch next year when i graduate......hopefully by then they will have made it even better...only reason i dont get one now is that I'm broke...lol. I think that the 15 inch is about as small as I can go...and i like to have lots of windows open too....i can't get the 17 because its just too heavy and i want to be able to travel with it. I currently have a 6.4 lbs pc laptop an the thing isn't that heavy but its heavy enough to where i dont like carrying it around......so i know anything beyond that would hurt to weak little female arms. I'd consider the 13 inch if my eyesight wasn't so bad!

Dartmouth used to require a Mac, but I think they dropped in favor of multiplatform a few years ago.
