I'm just doing some software upgrades on a students laptop and I was then looking into the Universal Access Software installed called SwitchXS & I was just wondering what other types of software is there out there that does this or is this pretty much it for the Mac OS.

I imagine most Mac users who need such things just go with the Universal Access preference pane built into OSX. However, most users don't need the functionality that it provides. Maybe you'll get a response from someone who does....
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Yonkers can have better TV reception.
