Hi! I have been getting lots of complaints ever since I got my new iMac about talking on the phone nearby it. Personally I don't hear the sounds, but people that I am talking with on my phone often complain me about hearing these high pitched noises.

My setup is organized around a new iMac with a d-link wifi t-mobile internet router. I talk on a blackberry curve 8820.

Does anyone know why the people I am talking with would hear high pitched noises when I bring my phone close to my iMac?

Thanks. Guess I'll just have to talk away from the computer. Kind of wish I didn't have to though.

If your blackberry is from ATT, Cingular or Tmobile it will do this. Verizon uses CDMA instead of GSM..

It's not just your Mac either.... it happens with all sorts of stuff including most tvs.

That's why Verizon rocks! And they have better coverage, too.
